Ashley Sirjord
Owner + Lead Planner
After working in corporate event planning and community engagement in Orange County, Ashley decided to take her talents into the wedding marketplace. As a Lead Planner for one of Boulder’s best known wedding coordinators, Ashley’s love for intimate events and all things details blossomed into Calico Weddings in 2019.
Ashley married her Minnesotan sweetheart Eric at Lake Mission Viejo in Southern California in 2016.
When she's not planning your perfect day, you can find her chasing around her sweet young kiddos, Grayson, Madelyn and Scarlett, and her handsome Vizslas, Kato & Cole.

Kelly Jackson
Lead Planner
Passionate about events and gathering people together, Kelly's experience has ranged from large corporate trade shows to small, intimate weddings.
She found a particular love of planning weddings in the mountains- from Vermont to Colorado, where she helps bring couples' special days to life. There is nothing quite like the moment when all the planning and details come together to create something spectacular and memorable. Kelly married her high school sweetheart in an elopement in Mexico, and with celebrations all over the country.
When she isn't working, Kelly enjoys all things outdoors with her husband and Golden Retriever puppy Honey: hiking, camping, snowboarding, and picking wildflowers!
Alyssa Leigh
Lead Planner
Alyssa began her career in corporate event planning in Washington, DC and eventually returned to Colorado, her home to focus on her relationships, her health, and her love for the outdoors. Alyssa has always loved the wedding industry — the creativity, the connection, the love.
She is thrilled to bring her decade long experience in event planning to Calico Weddings. She married the cute drummer she met at a concert in November 2020 in an intimate wedding in Longmont, Colorado.
When Alyssa isn’t planning your perfect day, she loves to bake sourdough, go to the park and get ice cream with her two young daughters and play board games with her husband Tyler.
Savanna Sulaiman
Lead Planner
Savanna began her career in the wedding industry in florals, then moved on to the events team at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Having worked as a florist, a venue manager, and now on the planning side, Savanna brings this well-rounded knowledge and experience with her to each wedding. Her background gives her a unique ability to anticipate needs before they arise and to collaborate seamlessly with creative partners. Couples love her thoughtful communication style, her calm presence on wedding day, and her passion for creating events that feel both effortless and personal.
When Savanna isn't working, she loves drawing, oil painting, swing dancing, and soaking in the Colorado sunlight—often with a sketchbook in hand. Creative outlets inspire her eye for design.
Emma Griffin
Lead Planner
Emma began her career in wedding planning in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and specializes in mountain weddings and celebrations. She loves using her creative mind, whether solving problems or arranging décor, and takes pride in bringing each couple’s vision to life. Known for her calm presence, Emma strives to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for every couple she works with.
Emma met her husband while teaching in Bhutan (a small country in the Himalayas), and she recently became a mom in 2026.
When she’s not planning weddings, she enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog, relaxing on their front porch, and appreciating all that Colorado’s landscape has to offer.
