Melissa and Neil’s wedding atop Aspen Mountain was a celebration of elevated luxury and a love story that began back in 2010. The two met in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and began dating after both transferred to Madison—so this day, years in the making, was a beautifully anticipated chapter.
They now call Colorado home and chose to welcome 35 of their closest friends and family to the exclusive AspenX Club, part of the iconic Little Nell Hotel, for an unforgettable summer solstice celebration.
With sweeping Rocky Mountain views as the ceremony backdrop, their dog Ziggy served as ring bearer, adding a heartfelt personal touch. Neil wore a custom suit designed by Denver-based Alvin Cooper, while Melissa’s gown by Justin Alexander brought timeless elegance to the mountaintop setting. Soft shades of pink played perfectly against the curated AspenX interiors—including a standout Prada-designed carpet.
Calico Weddings partnered closely with Sashae Floral to bring their refined vision to life, enhancing the experience with elevated linens, flatware, and flawless planning throughout.
It was a destination wedding in their new home state, and a long-awaited celebration of a relationship built on more than a decade of love.
